Meet the Staff
Lonnie Smith | General Manager
With over 15 years in the IT field, General Manager Lonnie Smith is
striving to make Digital Communication Media (DCM) one of the top cable
providers in the industry. Lonnie's strong determination for improving
operations and expanding DCM's services will keep the company on the
leading edge. Providing a high quality product at a competitive price is
the goal. The industry is constantly evolving, new products are being
developed, and new methods of delivery are being created. You can be
sure that Lonnie is fully involved in shaping the future of DCM and is
incorporating industry best practices for Digital Communication Media
(DCM). He is a certified Microsoft Systems engineer as well as an active
member of the Society of Telecommunications Engineers.
Christy Klabunde | Office Administrator
In August 2009, Christy has celebrated her one year Anniversary with
Digital Communication Media, as the Office Assistant. She has over 10
years of experience working for various companies handling day to day
operations. She is currently responsible for maintaining the
technician's schedule for appointments, dispatching service calls, and
processing all paperwork for accounting. She also is responsible for
inventory, maintaining DCM's operational software, and updating policies
and procedures. Her characteristics have contributed to the success of
DCM, which include: professionalism, attention to detail, positive
attitude, organizational skills, and persistence.
Jeff Hager | Field Supervisor
Jeff has more than 30 years of experience with the telecommunications
industry. This industry requires determination and persistence to keep
up with the on-going technological advances and legalities. This is
exactly what Jeff has done, he is an active member of both the Society
of Telecommunications Engineers and BICIS, since 1999 and has received
certifications from National Cable Televisions Institute for: Service,
System, Fiber Optic, Advanced and Master Technician and also for
Returned Path Operations. As Field Supervisor here at Digital
Communication Media, Jeff has many crucial responsibilities, which
include supervising the daily operations, maintenance repairs, and with
planning and the implementation of new construction.
Kevin Houseknecht | System Technician
Kevin has been in the cable industry for almost 20 years. His
experiences in the telecommunication industry, includes all aspects from
working with small companies to major communication companies. He has
received: certifications from the National Cable Television Institute
(NCTI), and the SECOR certification. Currently he is responsible for:
maintaining head end equipment and field maintenance, daily service
calls, and performing installations for customers. He has a strong
commitment to excellence.
Gary Saulsbury | Maintenance Technician
Gary has been in the cable industry for 12 years. His past experience in
the cable industry includes over ten years with Comcast as a top notch
Maintenance Technician, installing and repairing coaxial hard line cable
and fiber optic splicing. He is currently responsible for
installations, service calls, plant maintenance, and special projects.
He enjoys his various responsibilities and is always willing to go the
extra mile to provide excellent customer service.
